Fabulous Fairisle (2) – Jeannie Gets in on the Act!

So I knitted another dress based on Sylvie’s pattern ‘Abigail’s Tunic’ at Poupeesdesyl, but this time it was for Jeannie.

During a trip to Linlithgow I managed to buy another ball of Sirdar Crofter DK that was reduced because it had been discontinued (from the shop Nifty Needles). This one is shade 54 ‘Fairisle’ (pale blue/petrol green).

Once again I used size 3 mm knitting needles and I lengthened this one even more and made the straps narrower. I then reduced the number of neck stiches from 54 to 40 to make the neck a little tighter. I am very pleased with the result!
