Bonjour, mes amies!

Un tuto pour vous. Katie is wanting to copy the big girls and she wants a dress just like Jeannie. How can I resist her demands?

Here is Katie wearing a dress based on Jeannie’s pretty peach dress.

Katie’s dress is made with Stylecraft Life 4 ply in 2306 (cardinal) and I used size 3.00 mm knitting needles.

Here is Krissy wearing another version of the dress, this time with Stylecraft Life 4 ply shade 2309 (heather).

Here is my third tutorial for a simple little crocheted dress for my Mini Corolline, Kara.

English Version – Kara’s new dress

Yarn: 4 ply
Crochet hook: 3 mm
1 matching button

Make a chain of 34
Row 1: chain 2 more and then treble into fourth st from end. Treble in each st to end (you should have 34 sts). Turn.
Row 2: 3 chain, 1 treble in 3 following sts, 3 trebles in next st, miss 7 sts; 3 trebles in next st, 1 treble in next 8 sts, 3 trebles in next stitch, miss 7 sts, 3 trebles in next st, 1 treble in next 4 sts (you should have 28 sts). Turn.
Row 3: 3 chain and 1 treble in first st, treble to last stitch, 2 trebles in last stitch (you should have 30 sts), close with slip st. Turn.
Row 4: 3 chain and 1 treble in first st, treble to last stitch, 2 trebles in last stitch (you should have 32 sts), close with slip st
Row 5: 3 chain and 1 treble in first st, treble to last stitch, 2 treble in last stitch (you should have 34 sts), close with slip st
Row 6: 3 chain, treble in every st, close with slip st
Row 7: 3 chain, treble in every st, close with slip st
Row 8: 3 chain, treble in every st, close with slip st
Row 9: 4 chain, * miss a st, 1 treble and 1 chain in next st *, repeat from * to * till end of row, close with slip st.
Row 10: 2 chcain, dc in every st, close with slip st
Row 11: 4 chain, 1 treble, 1 chain, in first st; *1 treble, 1 chain, 1 treble, 1 chain in next st*, repeat from * to * till end of row, close with slip st. Finish off.

Sew on the button – use a treble hole as the buttonhole

Here is my second tutorial, but I cannot take the credit for it. This is an adaptation of a beautiful original pattern by Sylvie of ‘PoupeesdeSyl’. Sylvie has given me permission to post this tutorial for the Corolle Mini Corollines.

Yarn: Sirdar Bonus DK
Needle: 3.25mm

Cast on 76 stitches
Row 1: knit
Row 2: knit
Row 3: purl
Row 4: knit
Row 5: purl
Row 6: knit 2 together entire row. There are now 38 sts.
Row 7-29: stocking stitch, commencing with a knit row
Row 30: knit 8 sts, cast off 4 sts, knit 14 sts, cast off 4 sts, knit 8 sts
Row 31: knit 8 sts, cast on 13 sts, knit 14 sts , cast on 13 sts, knit 8 sts. There are now 56 sts.
Row 32-37: stocking stitch commencing with a knit row
Row 38: knit 2 together entire row. There are now 28 sts.
Row 39: knit to last 3 sts, knit 2 together, yarn forward, knit 1 (make a buttonhole)

And for my very first tutorial I am sharing how I managed to achieve the little witch’s hats for my Corolle Mini Corollines, Krissy and Katie. These dolls are 20 cm tall.

English Version – Witch’s Hat

Yarn: Patons 100% Cotton 4 ply
Crochet Hook: 3 mm

Row 1: 4 chain and 3 trebles in the first chain. Close with a slip st.
Row 2: 3 chain and 1 treble in the first st, then 1 treble in next st, 2 trebles in next st, and 1 treble in final st. Close with a slip stitch. You have 6 sts.
Row 3: 3 chain and 1 treble in the first st, then 1 treble in each of the remaining 5 sts. You have 7 sts.
Row 4: 3 chain and 1 treble in the first st, then 1 treble in each of the remaining 6 sts. You have 8 sts.
Row 5: 3 chain and 1 treble in the first st, then 1 treble in each of the remaining 7 sts. You have 9 sts.
Row 6: 3 chain and 1 treble in the first st, then *1 treble in next st, 2 trebles in next st*, repeat from * to * till the end of round, close with a slip st. You have 14 sts.
Row 7: 3 chain and 1 treble in the first stitch, then *1 treble in each of next 2 sts, 2 trebles in next st*, repeat from * to * till the end of round, close with a slip st. You have 19 sts.

Row 11: 3 chain and 1 treble in the first stitch, then *1 treble in each of next 5 sts, 2 trebles in next st*, repeat from * to * till the end of round, close with a slip st. You have 42 sts.
Row 12: 3 chain and 1 treble in the first st, then 1 treble in each of the remaining 41 sts. You have 43 sts.
Row 13: 3 chain and 1 treble in the first st, then 1 treble in each of the remaining 42 sts. You have 44 sts.
Row 14: 3 chain and 1 treble in the first st, then 2 trebles in every st.
Row 15: change to contrast colour and do a round of double chain then finish off with slip st.
