Bonjour!
I love the style of Sylvie’s Dress for Lindsay [la robe de Lindsay] so much that I have adapted it for Krissy and Katie – my Corollines. The original pattern is available on Sylvie’s site ‘Poupees de Syl’. Obviously I have made the dress smaller, but I have also managed to make it in one piece, to save having to sew the yoke to the body of the dress.
Here is Krissy with her version and I have used some old DK spotty wool I had in my stash. It is quite a harsh wool from King Cole called Spot On in shade 600. (Knitted with size 3.25 knitting needles.)
The frill is just as ‘frilly’ in this smaller version.
Katie, on the other hand, has some beautiful soft yarn, this time from Wendy – Peter Pan DK shade 780. I used size 3.25 mm knitting needles and there was no problem with the fit.
I still love the design of this dress, although Katie and Krissy do not look quite as sophisticated as Annie!
Annie is very kind to the wee ones …
And finally, the three girls showing off their dresses.
