Cute Granny Border – Jeannie in Lilac

1 Nov

Happy November!! I wish you a lovely month of knitting, crocheting and sewing for our beautful dolls.

And here is another outfit I completed a couple of weeks ago when I was on holiday and crocheted at 4 or 5 in the morning. I loved the look of this beautiful dress, generously offered by the immensely talented Odile at Passion Poupees. I decided to make it in this gorgeous lilac shade.

Jeannie’s granny outfit is crocheted with a 3.5 mm crochet hook and uses Sublime extra fine merino wool 4 ply in shade 0166 Mellow (dark lilac). The accent yarn is the same – Sublime extra fine merino wool 4 ply in shade 0287 Souffle (beige). Here is a photo of Jeannie trying on the outfit while we were away on holiday. (The traditional lack of a button is masked by her beautiful long hair.)

Here are some more photos I took this morning.

The wee ballet pumps were also crocheted with one of Odile’s patterns.
