Annie in Blue – Lots of Frills

24 Oct

Here is Annie wearing an outfit I started to make during my holidays, but left unfinished for some time because I was trying to match the colouring in the sleeves and I lost interest a wee bit. However, in the process of finishing off the ball of yarn for Krissy’s first outfit I managed to reach some more pale blue for the frill on the right sleeve.

I had planned to make another matching dress for Jeannie using another ball of Drops Delight that I had in a different colour – but I am easily distracted and this yarn can be a bit of nuisance if trying to match parts of the garment like the sleeves.

Anyway this is Drops Delight shade 04, light blue, and the pattern, of course, comes from Odile’s site Passion Poupees. I used a size 3.50 mm hook.

And here is what you can achieve with one ball of yarn (50g).

Don’t Annie and Krissy look very sweet together in their matching dresses?
